Explosive New Line of T-shirt Designs

Going Postal!, an on-line t-shirt company, announced a new line of shirts using old firecracker labels. These colorful examples of folk can be extremely difficult to find in good condition since many of them were blown up or discarded by their users in the excitement.

David Ryan, owner of Going Postal!, recently stumbled across the country’s most complete collection of firecracker labels and, entranced by their classic beauty, immediately saw a valuable addition to his company’s line. Some of them are more than 65 years old and most of them reflect an unusual and quaint view of America from afar. Most are of Chinese origin.

“Remember the fascination with classic fruit crate labels? These labels have the same kind of appeal but so far are even more difficult to find,” said Mr. Ryan.
